Socio-cultural key factors of theory and practice in official German development cooperation The German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has finalized a comprehensive concept for international development cooperation which tries to include major factors in this field: 1) legitimacy (acceptance); 2) achieved development level; 3) socio-cultural heterogeneity. The present book operationalizes this concept by establishing exact definitions regarding content and delimitations of the three factors, and by supplying numerous examples for arising questions. This is thought to be a useful tool for respective organizations dealing with development cooperation.
