Steven Lihonama Lutumo. Life and work of a traditional healer of the Bena, Southwest Tanzania
Using the qualitative method of biographical research and participant observation, Kutalek describes Lutumo's process to become a healer, his therapies (conversations, rituals such as oracles, surgery, healing agents), his everyday life and his concept of illness and health, his patients, his social position. A final chapter discusses results on a theoretical level.
