Paradigms of actor-centered sociology
Discussing paradigmatic change (T. Kuhn) Gabriel finds that in sociology, other than in the natural sciences, there are numerous paradigms - valid and applied simultaneously. Also, they are highly compatible and may complement each other. This, he opines, is especially true for action-centered sociology. The contributions in this book present a historical and systematic ´inventory´ of actor-centered paradigms - as a solution for this ´multiparadigmatasis´.
