ANTHROPOLOGICAL ABSTRACTS
introduces most publications in cultural/social anthropology published in
German language area (Austria, Germany, Switzerland) in the form of
abstracts in English. Most of these publications are not included in major
Abstracting Services such as the "International Bibliography of the Social
Sciences" or "Sociological Abstracts". Anthropological Abstracts (AA)
includes monographs, anthologies, museum catalogs, and journal articles. It
is a convenient source of information for scholars who do not read German,
to become aware of these publications. Most abstracts are authored by the
editor, others are bracketed by the ## sign. A print version of AA is
published by Lit Verlag, Muenster, Germany.
